Note that the quality of the audio isn’t the greatest. It was recorded over Skype, and there is some background noise and the occasional dropout.

As a side note, we are experimenting with the way we record podcasts, so the audio may be less than perfect. It’s something that we’re working on.

In this podcast, we discuss grammar, the impact of Web 2.0 on grammar, podcasting, and new media vs traditional media. Mignon’s Grammar Girl podcast is a great example of how to “discover an audience” through podcasting and I encourage readers who are thinking about starting their own podcast to do so.

This time around, we spend over 16 minutes weighing in on the subject that’s causing a lot of buzz in the technical communications industry: the release of RoboHelp 6 by Adobe. And, to be honest, we’re not overly impressed.

In case you’re wondering, we tried something new with this week’s podcast: we did it over Skype and recorded it using software called PowerGramo. Let us know how you like (or not) this little experiment.
